Tune in this Wednesday to WIOX Community Radio 91.3FM (streaming live on the web) for Watershed Wednsday at 1 p.m. Host Tara Collins of the Watershed Agricultural Council sits down with NRCS State Conservationist Astor Boozer, Public Relations Specialist Ivy Allen and Assistant State Conservationist Dianna Power to talk about the USDA National Resource Conservation Service and its many New York Programs. NRCS has several offerings with upcoming application deadlines such as organic farming assistance and conservation stewardship programs. NRCS is also one of the Watershed Agricultural Council's key partners in protecting water quality in the New York City Watershed on both sides of the Hudson.
