MURAL is honored to host, “Feast Your Eyes,” a Community Art Show. This exhibition showcases the talents of artists in our community and celebrates a gallery full of art. “Feast Your Eyes" will be on view at the MURAL on Main Gallery, located at 631 Main Street in Hobart, from Friday, November 4th through Saturday December 18th; with an Opening Reception on Saturday, November 5th, from 2-4 pm.
MURAL presents various fine art exhibits throughout the year. Our goal for “Feast Your Eyes” is to present the abundance and variety of art being created within our community. During a season of full Thanksgiving tables and Christmas stockings, the MURAL on Main Gallery will be filled with art and the rich diversity of artists in our region. In addition to this exhibition of original fine art, the MURAL on Main Gallery Gift Shop will be open during regular gallery hours and during special events through the season.
Awards for individual pieces in this exhibit have been given based on judging by Doug Jamieson, accomplished artist and illustrator; and Tracy Jacknow, artist and past president of MURAL. Award recipients will be recognized at the Opening Reception on Saturday, November 5th, from 2-4 pm. The reception includes refreshments and is free to the public.
Arts programming at MURAL is made possible with funding from the Robinson-Broadhurst Foundation, the O’Connor Foundation, the Community Foundation for South Central New York- Joyce and David Barber Donor Advised Fund, the Hobart Community Foundation, C.O.R.E., and individual donors.
