A talk by local military historian Charles M. Breiner will include an overview of the armies, impact of new weapons including gas, U.S. industry and how the Treaty of Versailles set the stage for over 100 years of warfare. Museum researchers will also give a short presentation on former Claryville resident Dr. Karl Connell who invented the Connell Gas Mask. Refreshments are included.
