At 6:45 pm, the community will participate in a Paper Lantern Light Parade, beginning at the Reformed Church and proceeding to the Deyo House lawn for Historic Huguenot Street’s annual Community Tree Lighting. Luminaries will line the street and paper lanterns will be available for purchase at the Museum Shop. At 7:00 pm, Historic Huguenot Street will host its fourth annual Community Tree Lighting on the Deyo House lawn. The tree will be lit by Village of New Paltz Mayor Tim Rogers, Deputy Mayor KT Tobin, Town of New Paltz Supervisor Neil Bettez and Deputy Supervisor Daniel Torres. Crazy Cow Kettle Corn will be on hand selling their gourmet kettle corn around the tree from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm.  Following the tree lighting, guests are welcome to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Deyo House porch until 8:00 pm, at which point the Big Blue Big Band will perform a free concert in the Reformed Church.
