Next time you're in Freshtown, take a look by the front window in the middle of the store and you will see a plastic bin labeled Reusable Shopping Bags. It's been there about 2 months already. Have you noticed it? How often have you gone in the supermarket and remembered that you forgot to bring one of the many reusable bags you carry with you in your car for that purpose? Now, you can help yourself to a bag from the bin. Of course, if the bin is empty, that's because not enough people are contributing surplus bags of their own. It's a Give and Take approach. So keep the bin stocked with some of your surplus reusable bags and when you need a bag or two, help yourself. There's no telling from what exotic locales the bags originated, be they trade shows in far off cities or tropical island paradises. Beats paper or plastic!
