The Commons Gallery, in the Commons, Margaretville, will host an exibition of "Paintings of the Upper Catskills and Beyond" by the East Branch Delaware River Plein Air Painters during July. Included in the exhibition are paintngs of the now demolished building at the corner of Hwy 28 and Dry Brook Rd., Arkville by Robert Axelrod, Linda Lariar, Margaret Leveson and Alix Hallman Travis; photographs of the artists painting the structure by Bonnie Mitchell will also be on display. Artists whose works are included in the exhibiton are: Dale Amato, Robert Axelrod, Nancy Feldman, Oneida Hammond, Linda Lariar, Margaret Leveson, Nancy McShane, Jenny Neal, Jane Tompkins, Alix Hallman Travis and Dan Williams. The public is invited to a reception at the gallery July 3, 3-5.
