This Weekend: Halloween

This weekend, as we wait to see what Hurricane Sandy may bring to us next week, is the perfect time to get out and have a little Halloween fun, as Halloween itself might be as weird as it was last year. (Remember? Freak October Snowpocalypse?)

And there's a wealth of fun things happening in every corner, such as the kid-friendly parade and PTA social in Phoenicia, and haunted train rides on the Catskill Mountain Railroad. Those looking for more adult-oriented fun are in luck with events like the second annual Halloween bash in Bearsville and the somewhat epic Kingston Digital Corridor's "Monster of All Mixers," a Halloween ball to benefit a number of local causes including the Rosemary D. Gruner Memorial Cancer Fund.
