State police in Liberty announced the arrest of 47-year-old Edward Patalon of Cochecton today, on charges that he stole a Kubota tractor from another town resident.
The tractor in question was reported stolen on November 16. With help from Pennsylvania state police, it was found on December 1 in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania.
Patalon faces charges of third-degree grand larceny. He was arraigned in Town of Cochecton court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of bail.
