Some Catskills residents are already waking up to power outages, even before the storm hits in full force.

Central Hudson's outage map shows that residents in Walker Valley, New Paltz and West Hurley are already without power as wind from Hurricane Sandy has swept into the region. The outages there have hit a total of roughly 375 users. The rain is expected to follow, starting sometime between noon and 1 p.m.

NYSEG is also reporting nearly 400 outages in Sullivan County. Those outages are all in the towns of Bethel, Liberty and Thompson.
