As Of Noon...One To Two And A Half Inches Of Rain Had Fallen Over Portions Of The Catskills In Green And Ulster Counties...With Up To An Inch Of Rain In The Hudson Valley And Taconics. Another Area Of Heavy Rain Was Moving Into This Region As Of 1215 PM...And Could Bring Another One To Two Inches Of Rain To The Flood Advisory Area Between 1215 PM And 330 PM. The Heaviest Rainfall Amounts With This Next Area Of Rain Is Expected To Fall Over The Hudson Valley And Taconics.
Hydrographs for the West Branch in Walton, the Esopus at Cold Brook, and the Schoharie Creek at the Gilboa Dam are currently forecasting water levels to rise above the "action" stage, though below flood stage.
