The Times Herald-Record reports that flash flooding rose quickly in downtown Livingston Manor earlier this evening, and a hazard was issued by the county around 6:30pm.

A reader on our Facebook wall wrote around 9pm:
"Livingston Manor Flooded, The road near the firehouse is a river. Parksville and other areas near the Little beaverkill is flooded."
County manager David Fanslau tweeted a few minutes ago that numerous roads are closed around Sullivan County due to flooding:
DPW reports that currently Sullivan has the following roads with closures 149 179 96 123 19 81 & 82.

Update, 10:15pm: An earlier flash flood warning issued for Sullivan County has been extended until 12:15 tonight. In it, the National Weather Service reports that flooding has been a problem in Claryville and Jeffersonville as well as Livingston Manor:

Denning got 8" of rain, roads closed , no school tomorrow for claryville kids. Serious flooding. Power out since at least 3pm. Frost Valley flooded again too.
Correction, 9/19: An earlier draft of this story stated that the flooding in Livingston Manor was from the Willowemoc Creek. It was from Cattail Creek, which jumped its banks and carved a new channel down Main Street on Tuesday night. Apologies for the error.
