14-year-old Autumn Fitzpatrick missing

Update: Autumn Fitzpatrick was found late Saturday night and is home safe.

An Accord girl who attends Coleman High School in Kingston, 14-year-old Autumn Fitzpatrick, was reported missing earlier today. According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, whose deputies are searching for the girl, she was last seen Friday afternoon in the town of Ulster:

On Friday October 5, 2012, Autumn Fitzpatrick walked away from her school in Kingston and met with her 17 year old boyfriend in Kingston. They obtained a ride to the Hudson Valley Mall from a relative, and met with friends. Later, they left the mall on foot. Autumn and her boyfriend began to argue and parted ways. Autumn was last seen walking in the area of Morton Boulevard and Van Keuren Highway in the Town of Ulster.

Seeking The Lost, a missing-persons community on Facebook, wrote earlier today that Fitzpatrick may have gotten into an argument with her friend:

Autumn Fitzpatrick (14) was last seen on 10/5/2012 by Joe Kearney's grandfather who dropped Joe Kearney (17) and Autumn off at the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, New York some time after 2:30pm.

Joe, who first denied being with Autumn, told deputies he and Autumn had a fight after leaving the mall while walking down Morton Blvd, Kingston and claims they parted ways.

The Freeman has a few more details:

Fitzpatrick’s mother, Carol, said on Saturday that family, friends and authorities have searched caves in Rosendale and Kingston, because Fitzpatrick recently spoke about caves, and also have looked at Camp Epwroth in Accord, because Fitzpatrick went there when she was younger.

Carol Fitzpatrick said her daughter has left home once before without telling her family.

Autumn Fitzpatrick is described as 5'2", about 150 pounds, with sandy blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black sweater with a camisole, multicolored skirt and black dress shoes. Anyone who may have seen her or has information on her whereabouts should contact the Ulster County Sheriff's Office at (845) 338-3640.
