9/9/11 Update: According to a press released issued at 5pm on Friday by Delware County Emergency Services, the state of emergency is Deposit has been lifted. Airport Road is still closed, however:

The Town of Deposit lifted their state of emergency earlier today and all of their roads are open with the exception of Airport Road. The Cannonsville Reservoir spill rate has steadily decreased throughout the day today.
9/8/11: There has been a state of emergency in Deposit since 6:30am this morning, according to NY-Alert:

Town Supervisor, Thomas Axtell, has declared a State of Emergency for the Town of Deposit as of 6:30 a.m. September 8, 2011. All roads have been closed at this time. There is ongoing flash flooding and some evacuation notifications occuring throughout the town.
Instructions:
All roads are closed and travel should be limited to emergency traffic. Do not drive through flooded roadways.
