This just in from the Phoenicia Observer: 

Shandaken and Phoenicia are experiencing power outages that started at 1900 hours (7pm) due to a transformer fire located on Rdy Frank Rd, in Shandaken.  NYSEG is working on the sitation and a time frame for the power to be returned to service is not available.
