On October 9, 2011, the New York State Police at Margaretville arrested Daniel R. Fullington, age 29, of Meredith, New York, for Rape in the First Degree. The arrest stemmed from a Delaware County 911 complaint that was received on October 8, 2011, reporting a sexual assault that occurred in the Town of Kortright. Fullington was arraigned in the Town of Davenport Court and was committed to the Delaware County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail. The investigation is continuing.
