Travel Advisory (near Phoenicia, Wed. 9:30 am): Plank Rd. under a lot of water just north of the monastery. Rt. 212 between Woodstock and Phoenicia under a lot of water in 3-4 places. As they say, take alternate routes....
Update, 11:10am: NY-Alert reported at 10:43am that Route 212 between Plank Road and Route 28 was closed due to flooding. The expiration time on the alert is 2:06pm.
(Three cheers for the power of the local network. If we learned anything from the Irene and Lee floods, it's that the neighbor-to-neighbor news networks are usually faster than the 'official' ones, and about as likely to have good information.)
