Hamden flood update

The town of Hamden is still in a state of emergency tonight, according to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, with which we just got off the phone.

The National Weather Service is reporting that fields in Delancey are flooded, and a bridge is threatening to go under:

WATER NEAR BOTTOM OF COUNTY ROAD 2 BRIDGE IN DELANCEY. FIELDS FLOODED NEAR DELANCEY.

Videographer Jessica Vecchione made a video of what looks to be one heck of a washed-out road in Hamden this afternoon. She also shot video of the nearby village of Delancey:

*UPDATE, 10/2, 10am: The state of emergency was lifted in all towns, as of 6:30 this morning.
