A 51-year-old Esopus man was arrested in Kingston on Monday night for allegedly showing up drunk to a Stop DWI Impact panel that was being held in the Sheriff's Office building. Law enforcement quickly surmised that if Thomas Ackerman was drunk at the meeting (he reportedly blew a BAC of over .18%) he had likely driven drunk to get there.
