After the walloping six inches of rain we got last week, the thirsty Cannonsville Reservoir might play host to a Lark in the Park paddle on Thursday after all.
The annual festival had decided to move its Cannonsville padde, scheduled for this Thursday, to the Susquehanna River because of fears that the Cannonsville was too low for boating.
But Jack McShane, the Catskill Mountain Club board member who will lead the paddle, visited the reservoir this morning and was heartened. Compare the photo he took (above) to a photo he took from the same spot last Monday (below):
"Thursday we may try a paddle," says McShane, via email.
