A middle-aged man and two teenagers allegedly forced their way into a household in Accord in Ulster County on Monday and attacked a person they found inside. Forty-year-old Chip Daole, 19-year-old Justin Cox, and 17-year-old Dylan Cox were arrested. From what was reported in a press release by the State Police, it looks like it was a family affair; all three men live in the same house in Plattekill. The full press release is below:
On Tuesday, July 14th, members of the New York State Police, Troop F, SP Ellenville, announce the arrest of three subjects for Burglary 1st, and Gang Assault 2nd.
On Monday September 13, 2010 Ulster County 911 received a call for an Assault to a resident in the Accord area. Responding members of the State Police learned that three subjects forced their way into a residence and collectively were involved in assaulting the victim causing physical injuries. After an intensive investigation members were able to identify and locate the Suspects.
Arrested were Chip Daole 40, Justin Cox 19, and Dylan Cox 17, all of 15 Denton Road, Plattekill, NY. All three suspects were charged with Burglary 1st a (B Felony), Gang Assault 2nd a (C Felony) and arraigned in the Town of Rochester Court before Town Justice Babcock. Chip Daole was Remanded to the Ulster County Jail on $20,000 cash or $40,000 bond. Both Justin Cox and Dylan Cox were released without bail.
