Help Build the New Trail at the Catskill Interpretive Center

We will be working on the new trail at the Catskill Interpretive Center in Mt Tremper, NY which is right off the parking lot and has access to the building with restrooms.  The trail is a great opportunity to learn how to build a more complex than normal trail here in the Catskills!  The trail starts on the far side of the new bridge and continues up to a picnic area, this is phase 1 of the trail.  Instruction will be provided and no experience is necessary.

Please make sure to wear your hiking boots; dress appropriately for the outdoor conditions and our trail building activities; pack plenty of water to stay hydrated; and bring a bag lunch.

Work trips will occur every Friday (April 15th thru June 3rd) from 10am to 4pm, come for as long or as short as you want. There will be weekend work dates as well as other weekdays and those will be announced as they are determined.
