HealthAlliance Foundation Announces Available Scholarships for 2014

The HealthAlliance Foundation is pleased to offer three scholarships to eligible high school seniors pursuing a degree in the health care field.

The HealthAlliance Foundation Healthcare Scholarship provides $1,000 each year for a two or four year degree

Jane and David Lundquist Scholarship awards a one-time gift of $500 to individuals entering the health care profession Elsie A. Kent Nursing Scholarship of $500 is awarded to those students entering the nursing field

Last year, Saugerties High School graduate, Angela Micucci, received the HealthAlliance Foundation Scholarship and Kingston High School graduate, Nicole Longendyke, was the recipient of the Jane & David Lundquist Scholarship.

Applications for all three scholarships have been mailed to the high school guidance offices of New Paltz, Wallkill, Highland, Saugerties, Kingston, Rondout Valley, Marlboro, Onteora, Ellenville, Coleman Catholic and the New Visions Career & Technical Center. Applications must be submitted by April 11, 2014. Students can also contact the HealthAlliance Foundation at 845-334-2760 for more information or an application packet.
