Nearly a year later, the final NYSERDA-sponsored Hudson River Foodway Corridor Project report is ready. Three consultant background papers commissioned by Lower Hudson Long Island Resource Conservation District (LHLIRCD) explore the feasibility of transporting agricultural products by Hudson River barge. The report looks at aggregation, distribution and transportation as part of the analysis and makes recommendations for executing the river-based initiative. |
