These are just a few of the marvelous vendors you will see at the February 14 indoor holiday pop-up farmers’ market in Stamford:
Blue Sky Farm and Winery (www.blueskyfarmwinery.com) – offers four varieties that contain blueberries and no other fruit or vegetable. Blueberries are high in antioxidants and are one of nature's super foods. All of these wines go very well with many types of food.
Cowbella (www.cowbella.com) - artisanal butters and skim-milk non-fat yogurts.
The Greater Stamford Area Chamber of Commerce (GSACC) is pleased to announce that they are sponsoring another indoor holiday pop-up farmers’ market on Thursday, February 14 from 3:30 to 6 PM at the Frank W. Cyr Center, the site of the former Rexmere Hotel, located at 159 West Main Street in the Village of Stamford. (The snow date is Friday, February 15 from 3:30 to 6 PM.)
The market is right before the long Presidents’ Day weekend and falls right on Valentine’s Day. The market’s vendors will have farm fresh food, local beer and wine, hand-made gifts, table decorations, fresh flowers and more. There is plenty of parking available and the building is handicapped accessible.
