SWEET VIOLETS tells the story of the former Violet Capital of the World, Rhinebeck New York. Filmmaker, Tobe Carey will be on hand for a post-film Q&A.
At the turn of the 20th Century, Violets were the preferred flower for corsages, Valentine's Day, and Easter. SWEET VIOLETS follows the path of these wonderful flowers through Dutchess County history, 40minutes. Screening with reception following at U & D Railroad Station, the Mountain Top Historical Society Campus. Suggested donation: $3.00.
