Getting Started on Etsy.com (at the eCenter in Delhi)
Calling all local artists & craftspeople, as well as sellers of art & craft supplies, antique & vintage goods, plants & seeds, and makers of select edible goods- join the global Etsy marketplace & sell your goods worldwide!  Launched in 2005, Etsy.com has become the most popular site for 'All Things Handmade' (and more!) It is an amazing resource, enabling hundreds of thousands of sellers to supplement their incomes with their virtual storefronts. However, Etsy can be intimidating, as the site is densely packed with features and the learning curve is steep (& public!)  This three hour seminar walks you through creating & optimizing your own shop
We will discuss Etsy-specific sales & marketing strategies, including:

  • Branding
  • Photography
  • Adding new listings
  • Shipping & Payment options
  • Etsy culture & networking

The class will be taught by Caitlyn Davey of Discomedusa Designs, an Etsy seller since 2006.

Students are encouraged to bring their own computers; a limited quantity will be available for general use.

$35 per student (includes follow up shop critique upon request)
