Miss Pam's Jams, music for kids of all ages and the young at heart radio show on WIOX Roxbury with music educator Pam West is moving to a new time and day. Instead of 6 to 8 am Tuesday mornings, it will be from 1 to 2 pm on Wednesday afternoons. Next Tuesday will be the last early morning show and the new time slot will begin Wednesday, January 11th.
Since the show will also be condensed to an hour, the music is going to focus on early childhood music exposure and development. It will feature some of the best kids music from both local and national artists, as well as the usual Music Together, Putumayo World Music, and Bed Whistle feature songs. Singing along at home or in the car and playing homemade drums, egg shakers, or rhythm sticks, and dancing at home will be encouraged. If you know moms, dads, grandparents, or child care providers of infants, toddlers or preschoolers, tell them to tune in at 1:00 pm starting Wednesday, Jan 11th either at 91.3 fm in you're in the Roxbury area, or streaming on the web at www.wioxradio.org.
