Deep Water film celebrating the Ashokan Reservoir for 10 years - makes a great holiday gift!

When we first released our documentary, Deep Water – Building the Catskill Water System, the viewing format of choice for local history buffs was VHS video tape. It wasn't long before we knew we had a “hit” on our hands, with festival and local showings, and great reviews. All this was reconfirmed a few years later when we produced a DVD of the program.

The exciting success of the Deep Water DVD continues, with our most popular program now in its tenth year of widespread distribution. One nice thing about the Deep Water DVD, is that it allows room for extras. And we've packed them in with a archive of almost 1000 vintage images, nine rare films and the full lenth versions of the extraordinary music used in the film.

In 2010 we had a showing at the Cairo Historical Society and recently we showed the film at ASK in Kingston. Local audiences clearly remain intrigued and interested in the Deep Water film and its story of the first West of the Hudson reservoir and its connection to NY City, some ten years after it's first release.
