Shops on Main will host an “Autumn Festival” on Saturday, October 15th, from 11am-3pm on Main Street, Margaretville. If you’ve got the “Round Barn Blues”, there will be a Farmers Market right on Main Street in front of the Municipal Building that includes local favorites; Bread Alone, Harpersfield Cheese, Pika’s Farm Table, Tea Thyme Herb and Fruit Farm, Straight Out of the Ground (Roxbury farmer Madalyn Warren) and more. Children’s activities include painting or carving pumpkins for Halloween. Come on down to enjoy hot cider and donuts and support our community. Proceeds will benefit Shops on Main, a collaborative initiative of local businesses and the MARK Project, to revitalize and help rebuild our Margaretville Main Street Business Community.
