Local Farmer Featured on Watershed Wednesday

Shannon Mason of Cowbella butter and yogurt wiill be a guest on Watershed Wednesday at 1 p.m. on January 26 on WIOX 91.3FM. Shannon is a sixth-generation farmer who raises her dairy line's raw materials -- milk from 30 Jersey cows eating grass -- at her family's farm in Jefferson, Delaware County.

Shannon and show host Tara Collins from the Watershed Agricultural Council will talk about the family farm, Cowbella's product launch and Shannon's experiences as a Pure Catskills member, a beginning farm entrepreneur and female farmer.
