On Sunday, December 10th at 7:00 PM, the Oneonta Region Chapter of The Compassionate Friends will join other chapters worldwide to observe The Compassionate Friends Candle Lighting. The annual event is a time to remember our departed children and to openly acknowledge the special place they have in our hearts. Anyone who has lost a child of any age is invited to attend. Grandparents, siblings and other close relatives and friends are also welcome. Parents may wish to bring a small photo of your child and it is suggested that you plan to arrive 15 minutes early to set up your photo on the memory table. The ceremony will be held in the Unitarian Universalist Church, 12 Ford Avenue in Oneonta, NY.
