Talk: “Daily Practice of Civic Engagement"

JoJo Li, an artist and set designer, will speak about her own history of involvement with elections, how it helped to form 2 Hours A Week--a community-organizing, daily-action website-- and how anyone can form an action group and get their voice heard. After the presentation, Li will lead a postcard-making and writing session directed to the district’s members of Congress. Postcards and art supplies will be provided. Free and open to the public; $5 suggested donation.
