Dear Onteora Residents,
Have you signed yet? The Ulster County School Boards Association is seeking to end the Gap Elimination Adjustment (GEA), which has cut over $7,300,000 in State Aid to our Onteora School District since being introduced in 2010, and has cut several billion dollars to School Districts State wide. We invite you to be part of the action by signing a petition. The petition will be delivered to the Board of Regents, the New York State House, the New York State Senate, and Governor Andrew Cuomo telling our State leaders to provide fair and equitable funding for our schools.
