Man charged with injuring passenger in Shandaken rollover

A rollover motor vehicle incident on Monday, Dec. 8 on Silver Hollow Road in the Ulster County town of Shandaken left one man in critical condition, according to the New York State Police.

The driver of the vehicle, 24-year-old Brendan M. Bailey of Shandaken, was treated for minor injuries, while his passenger, who is not being named by police, was transported to Albany Medical Center with serious physical injuries and remains in critical condition, police say.

Bailey, the driver, was charged with driving while intoxicated and with felony vehicular assault. He was ordered to appear in the town of Shandaken Court.
