Muggles, grab your broomsticks: Catskill plays Quidditch

Ever wondered if it was actually possible to play Quidditch without, you know, flying broomsticks and magical winged Snitches and all the rest of that Harry Potter flimflam?

Wonder no more: Some dedicated Potter fans have indeed figured out a way for us Muggles to play, and it's sweeping the colleges of the nation. According to the Daily Mail, Muggle Quidditch has even made it as far as Catskill High School, which is going to be offering it in gym classes and as an intramural sport henceforth:

“Its adding a little magic to the classroom,” said Joe DiStefano, a 2010 graduate of CHS attending his first year of college at Syracuse University. He and classmate Kyle Sanson, attending the University of Rochester, returned to their alma mater to introduce the game to the students.

The graduates both began playing the game this year at their respective colleges, and are big fans. As they began playing, carrying broomsticks as they bobbed and weaved trying to score, the students at CHS were also clearly having a good time.
