Earthquake!

Anyone feel the earthquake a few minutes ago? It seems a 5.9 magnitude earthquake hit Virginia just before 2pm, about 83 miles south of Washington, D.C, and people are feeling it up and down the East Coast.

We felt the building shake a little here in Andes -- and from a quick look around the local social-media world, other folks did too.

Mike Wentland of Catskills Cycling tweets:

Big indian NY just had an earthquake! Strong enough to rattle the stove. Thought I was dizzy till I realized . .

Fleischer's Meats in Kingston tweets:

OMG! Earthquake in Kingston! The earth certainly moved for me. Nice to see our neighbors but I wish it was for different reasons.

The Walton Reporter on Facebook:

Did you feel the earthquake? We did!
