Once a year, the students of Delaware Academy in Delhi drive their tractors to school in a show of rural pride. This morning, a line of tractors arrived at school in time to do a ceremonial lap around the lawn before classes started. One of them, pictured below, was driven by Tyler Hymers and Chelsea Steffens, who had led a caravan of three other tractors from Elk Creek Road.

If you didn't see tractor day this morning, you get another chance this afternoon: There will be another parade around the central lawn when school lets out.
Last we checked, Delhi was north of the Mason-Dixon line: Yes, that's a confederate flag parked on school property.
