Paul Misko – Woodland Valley Historian – will be leading a Forest & History hike in Woodland Valley. Paul has been visiting Woodland Valley since he was born and has managed to unravel quite a bit of Woodland’s history: tanning industry, sawmills, quarries, forest roads, state forest preserve, etc. Meet at the Woodland Valley State Campground parking area @ 9:45AM. Be prepared to hike 4 to 5 miles over steep & rocky terrain. No dogs please. Bring your own lunch & drink. Register with woodvalleybear@gmail.com by June 12th.
