Tonight's Show: Wild Foraging with Marguerite

CFA-On-The-Air: From the Forest
Wednesdays 6PM – 7PM
WIOX ROXBURY 91.3FM or www.wioxradio.org

On Wednesday night’s show, Jim & Ryan will be talking to Herbalist & Wild Foods Forager – Marguerite Uhlmann-Bower. Marguerite may be a retired Registered Nurse, but her passion for the last 35 years has been as an Herbalist. She teaches people how to identify, properly harvest, & prepare wild foods. You have probably seen many of these plants and perceived them as “weeds.” However, Marguerite teaches that there are many uses for these weeds, among other plants. Tune in at 91.3 FM or stream online @ www.wioxradio.org to learn more.

WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE FOREST?
Getting plenty of rain and plenty of intermittent sunlight between. Fruit trees are still looking good too. So far, it’s shaping up to be a great growing season. There are some gypsy moths here & there throughout the Catskills feasting on oak leaves. A good start to summer.

May the forest be with you,
