We will have fresh Tamworth pork in our cooler this week .... roasts, chops, all cuts! And now that the pork harvest is in full swing, we are busy catching up on our sausage making. This week we plan to make chorizo, sweet and hot Italian.

It is also time to start setting your appointments to pick up your turkeys. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21 and 22. Saturday, starting at 12 noon, and every 15 minutes until 4pm. Sunday, starting at 11am until 3pm. Send me an e-mail or call with your preferred day and time.

Our goats have come home victorious from their job "goatscaping" at the Loudonville Reservoir. A successful project all way around. Nice to have you home, Toast, Butter, Minnie, Blondie and Cleopatra. Right now, they are in the top field, reunited with some of the llamas and alpacas. In a couple weeks, they rejoin the rest of the does and our new buck for breeding.
