The Watershed Agricultural Council and Pure Catskills are featuring a different Catskills farmers' market every week during the 2015 growing season.
This week's market is the Rosendale Farmers' Market, held every Sunday from June through October, 10am to 2pm, at the market's outdoor location in the parking lot behind the Rosendale Theatre at 408 Main St. There is also an indoor winter market that runs on the first Sunday of the month, December through May, at the Rosendale Community Center.
The Rosendale Farmers' Market features locally-raised meats, fresh fruit and produce, wine, baked goods and other locally crafted foods. On market days, visitors can also browse the Rosendale Theatre's Flea Market, featuring a wide variety of antiques, crafts and collectibles.
For more information about the market, visit their Facebook page or contact market manager Billy Liggan at binnewaterbilly@gmail.com.
Pure Catskills is a regional, buy local campaign developed by the Watershed Agricultural Council.
