Three Liberty men arrested for burglary

A string of residential burglaries in Liberty has led to the arrest of three local men, according to New York State Police.

A press release from state troopers:

On December 14, 2011 State Police in Liberty announce the arrest of Brian Hendrickson, age 21, Christopher Wallace Hill, age 23, and James McDonnell, age 21, all from the Village of Liberty, for the felony charge of Burglary in the second degree.   State Police in conjunction with the Village of Liberty Police Department conducted an investigation into residential burglaries in the Town of Liberty and the Village of Liberty. Investigation revealed that Hendrickson, Hill, and McDonnell would drive around the Town and Village of Liberty during the weekday to select a residence from which they would gain entry and steal property.  The subjects were arraigned before Town of Thompson Justice Miller and committed to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $75000 bail. They are due back in the Town of Liberty court on December 15, 2011.
